The establishment of ANGGUN COLLECTION in 2001, was seen as a move to promote lavish Sarawak ethnic motifs; expressed and presented in a modern, elegant and fashionable styles.

ANGGUN COLLECTION provides quality consultancy services on fabric and fashion, as well as planning and management services for individual and organizational needs. We aim to create a niche in the fashion industry by offering high quality fabric with very fine and intricate ethnic designs to help create a unique identity of the wearer. At ANGGUN COLLECTION, relevant information on fabric and designs are given to our clients to suit their individual needs.

In February 2006, ANGGUN COLLECTION upgraded its partnership status into becoming a sendirian berhad or a limited company, and thus, MMY ANGGUN SENDIRIAN BERHAD was formed. This allows Anggun Collection to expand its existing business operation by diversifying its core business, from fabric and textile boutique to renting canopies for formal and informal events.

Principal Profile

Hajah Hairuni @ Jamilah Hj. Shukri, or fondly known as Jamilah, had a flair for fashion, and her innate and cultivated talent, gives her a unique insight and added advantage to compete in today's fabric and textile industry. A former Consumer Manager with Malayan Banking Berhad for 30 years, Jamilah used her knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as her love for fashion, to start her own fabric and textile business.

Jamilah's passion for style and elegance is shared by her daughter, Jasmine Abdul Razak, who is also her business partner. A graduate in Bio-industry Science from University Putra Malaysia, Jasmine is the designer for ANGGUN COLLECTION.
